Raising Voices of Those Living with Dementia

Educational, Enlightening, and Hopeful - Videos to Live Better

Dementia Chats™ was created in 2012, with the intention to educate people living with dementia, their care partners including family, friends, professionals, and advocates.

Dementia Chats™ panelists are the true experts.  They are those diagnosed with some form of dementia.  Our panelist vary from video to video depending on their personal schedules and new voices are always welcomed to join us.

Lori La Bey, the founder of Alzheimer’s Speaks facilitates Dementia Chats.  Lori learned how essential it was to listen to those diagnosed.  She found they have great insights and creative ideas to care.  They show us how to be inclusive in a new ways, which allows those with dementia to continue to feel dignified and purposeful.
