24/7 Access Enabling People to Live Their Best Life
The mission of Dementia Map has always been to be more than just a standard resource directory, but one that pulls profit, non-profit, government agencies, and people who don’t even see themselves as a resource; like family members and those living with dementia. We also wanted to provide an events calendar, blog, and glossary of terms as we understand that you can't know what you don't know.
In June of 2024, Lori La Bey became the sole owner of Dementia Map. Dave Wiederrich and Lori were Co-founders. In November 2020, they partnered after Dave reached out to Lori after hearing her repeated comments on Alzheimer’s Speaks Radio about the need to create a dementia resource directory. Dave applied his passion for improving the world and in short fashion, he took Lori’s vision for a global resource directory and designed Dementia Map Global Resource Directory an easy-to-access and use website.
The vision of Dementia Map was to be inclusive, allowing those diagnosed, as well as those who care or serve them, to feel comfort while searching for or promoting resources.
NO personal information required
NO membership fee to access resources.
NO pop-up bots trying to talk to you to grab your personal information
NO moving parts to distract you.
Just a simple site where you can easily find what you are looking for.
Dementia Map saw a need to share its audience with others who were trying to reach the dementia market. This is done in a multitude of ways. Schedule a tour to learn more! Together we can all reach more families and professionals faster to support their journeys.
Lori and Dave’s partnership complemented one another and allowed them to create something new for the world of dementia. Lori will be forever grateful to Dave for his belief in her vision and for bringing it to life and she is thankful for his continued friendship and guidance.
Wonderful Resources!
