Alzheimer's Speaks

Memory Wall for Dementia Advocates

Leaving A Legacy & Building a Movement

Leveraging Their Passion For Change & Inspiring Others To Do The Same

The dementia movement continues to push forward one person at a time. With that being said, please know we understand that each person living with a form of dementia has impacted society in one fashion or another. Here at Alzheimer's Speaks we are proud of their work both formal and informal to assist families, professionals, and society at large to come to a new understanding and awareness of what dementia looks like, feels like, and the support needed around the global to allow people to live fully.

At this time we can't formally honor everyone who has passed living with a form of dementia but we do have a resource listed below were you can share their passing with others who will understand and appreciate your loss.

This is a space we developed to honor those who have made a significant impact in the arena for dementia on a global level.

Dorothy is Lori La Bey's Mother. Without her mother's diagnosis there would be no Alzheimer's Speaks. Lori's mom lead her on a life changing journey and they worked as two peas in a pod to shift dementia care form crisis to comfort. Below you find some links of articles written about my mom. To this day, Lori feels she is still guided by her mother in everything she does.
