Not only did we discuss autonomy, but we talked about self care as a caregiver.  We also tossed around ideas on getting the medical profession to shift their care culture from tactical and research based to one of being heart centered, so they understand and become compassionate to the living laboratory the patient and caregiver live in day 24/7 with dementia.
