Lori La Bey talks with Jennifer Desserich who is the Founder and Executive Director of Dignify Dementia, a nonprofit organization. Jennifer created after years of being a care partner to her dad, Jim, who was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinsonism in 2018.
Jennifer is a trained public health research scientist and educator, as well as a compassionate advocate for aging adults, but she never expected her family would end up on a journey like this one. Both she and her mom have been live-in caregivers for Jim since his diagnosis.
