Meets with J. Arthur’s Memory Cafe
What fun we had today meeting with John Gross of KSTP -TV to tell him of the need for Memory Cafes. Our Group “J. Arthur’s Memory Cafe” was brilliant with their insights and knowledge. I was so proud of each them for sharing their personal journey with Alzheimer’s and Dementia; which will help teach people how to live with this disease not as it!
We will keep you all posted on when it airs.
“THANK YOU John for taking the time to air this important story!”

Lori, I so appreciate all you do with Alzheimer’s Speaks. I agree with you, “working together and sharing knowledge is the best way to win the battle against this disease”. Since journaling during our family’s journey with my Dad I’ve written a book with a dual goal of sharing our journey to help others and keeping the memory of who Dad was, prior to the diagnosis of AD, alive.
I recently had my book available at the LAMAA forum in Brainerd, MN where I was able to meet you and hear your presentation on how to help our loved ones. Thank You!
If you’re interested in what I’m trying to do to help you can find my book and blog at http://www.Lyndaconverse.com. My book is titled, “His Name Was Merle – Our Journey through Alzheimer’s Disease”.
HI Lynda
Thanks for writing. Did you input your book into the resource directory? If not shot me an email and I will get you directions on how to do so.
Lori
