Walk To End Alzheimer’s Bloomington, Mn September 24th, 2011
My daughter Danielle and I attended the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
 Bloomington, MN.Â
We lucked out with the weather today, but the lines where long at the park and rides.Â
The bad thing was people were frustrated this year with the poor planning of transportation, but…
The GOOD thing was there was a GREAT TURN OUT for the cause!
Although some people, including myself were disappointed in the delay of getting started due to the lack of transportation organization, it did not ruin the event. Even though a few people left before they walked due to being worried they would not complete their walk in time for their next commitment of the day. I do believe those who left early were few in terms of over all numbers. The majority of us hung in the lines and started chatting with our neighbors getting to know their personal stories and why they decided to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. These conversations were wonderful and tied us all together as a community of change makers.
Lots of People were snapping photos from the start of the walk
throughout the event. Here are just a few of ours.
You never know who you will be walking with!
Hope you decide to join the Walk To End Alzheimer’s next year in your area.
You should take part in a contest for one of the best blogs on the web. I will recommend this site!
Why thank you!
Lori
