Pre-interview with Larry King on his upcoming show Alzheimer’s Epidemic on CNN May 1st at 8pm

I am looking forward to watching Larry’s show on May 1st. I can only hope that they focus not just on a cure, but how we are going to help people both diagnosed as well as family and friends of those effected by the disease survive the journey with Alzheimer’s.

Please understand there is help. There is hope. Don’t buy into all the negative press. Yes, I will be the first to admit, it is not a disease I would ever chose to have or for a loved one to have, but bottom line there are many things we can do to enhance our lives and those diagnosed with the disease. You do offer some great suggestions about coping with Alzheimer’s. There is hope out there. The current breathrough they have about early diagnosis may help them find a cure or a way to slow the disease. Solutions for helping a loved one live a more fuller life with Alzheimer’s is always what we should strive for. We cannot give up hope. More and more of the population is aging finding a solution to Alzheimer’s the 5 th leading cause of death for those over 65 is important.
