We Will Discuss Genetics & Alzheimer’s Disease
Plus Get An Update From Rick Phelps, Founder of Memory People
One known Alzheimer’s risk factor is family history, and research has shown that those who have a family member with Alzheimer’s are more likely to develop the disease. Our understanding of genetics is rapidly evolving and research is now working to identify ways that genetics may be used in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.
The Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter is hosting an event featuring a panel of experts who will engage in an interactive discussion on the role of genetics in Alzheimer’s disease, including how genetics is influencing diagnosis and research today on Wednesday, March 14. “The Role of Genetics in Alzheimer’s Disease: An Evolving Landscape”
Our guests today will share with us what panel discussed at the conference.
