Sharing Resources & Raising All Voices Touched by Dementia
Shifting Social Beliefs Through Collaboration
As with the progression of many diseases, voice can be lost. This definitely happens with dementia too. Alzheimer’s Speaks Blog was developed to elevate a movement to do better by being inclusive of all parties involved.
When any form of dementia hits a family, communication as we know it begins to evaporate. This is the very essence of why Alzheimer’s Speaks Blog was created in 2009. We wanted to raise the voice of all people living with and working in the trenches of those dealing with a variety of neuro-diverse situations. All formats, insights and opinions are welcome: while encouraging, assisting, and engaging those in need.
Alzheimer’s Speaks Blog’s goal has always been to allow people to have easy access to a variety of services, products, tools, and concepts when dealing with the dementia. We believe collaboration and alternative works push society forward in search for better answers. We believe by working together, and sharing knowledge is the best way to win the battle against this disease.
