Our Host, Lori La Bey talks with Caroline Boxall. She is a mother of 5, a primary school teacher, a tutor, and an author. Her connection with Dementia was through her mother-in-law who lived in a care home. Caroline was inspired by her dementia journey to write a middle school age children’s book. Her book, “It’s Been Raining in Moscow, And I Forgot My Umbrella,” has done very well in the UK raising awareness of different types of dementia. Learn how Caroline added twists and turns to add intrigue to keep teenagers engaged and interested allowing them to learn about dementia.
