  1. Agreed, this is a great video! His experiences in preventing caregiver burnout are certainly insightful, and will very likely give others some good solutions for their own situations. I’ll bet that even making videos and uploading them to YouTube is stress relieving!

    1. HI
Thanks for writing. I would love for you to write an article about your company for my blog if you are interested. It doesn’t have to be long. It can even be just a couple of sentences describing what people will find on the site and then we can add a link to the site. let me know if you are interested

  2. Days of only “fear, anxiety and total hopelessness”? That worries me. I understand caregiving is stressful, but that sounds extreme and perhaps something one should talk to a family doctor or mental-health professional about.

    1. Hi Leigh Ann,

I understand your concern, yet I also feel it is very important for people to realize the stress and pressure that can occur when caregiving. I believe having a release to talk, write, video log… about ones feelings is very important. Each person has to find what is comfortable for them in order to work through and process their feelings. Inthe video he also talks about the improtant of balance, which of course is different for each of us deeping on our needs are.

Thank you for taking the time to comment

    2. With all due respect, I would say you have NOT been a caregiver or you would totally understand that a caregiver lives with this 24/7. Well, close. It’s impossible not to.

      1. HI SUe

thanks for taking the time to write. I am not sure where you are coming from as the video highlighted shows the struggles and frustrations of a caregiver. As for you assuming I’m not a caregiver you are dead wrong. I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. If you check out the sitea bit more I think you will pick that up. I’m on your side, that is why I started the site. Same with my resource website http://www.AlzheimersSpeaks.com I do get it, maybe I get it just a bit different then you and that is the point. None of us go through this exactly them same. There are however many similaities and situations where we can learn from one another. This site was developed to push out information and for people to be able to review and decide for themselves what may work for their own situation.
