  1. A NEW YEAR POEM FOR ALL – 2022

A brand new year lies up ahead, A sense of excitement, yet so much dread, Never knowing, from day to day, Never knowing, come what may, Dementia`s demons come around, Creep up on you, without a sound, Images flash, within your head, Some alive, some sadly dead, You try to run, but there’s no escape, Tightly closed eyes, in dementias cape, So what’s to come, in this new year? Is it full of hope, or so full of fear? Whatever happens, we will have to bide, As long as you’re all are by my side, So to all, I will say this, And blow you all a loving kiss, The future is ours, day by day, Please, best foot forward, never shy away
