Explore the Myths & Magic of Disease
This presentation will look at the real life stigmas associated with dementia and what we can do as individuals to make a difference in a positive light. We will look at simple everyday situations and give you tips and tools to understand the world in which a person with dementia lives.
Objectives –
- Get new insight to an old problem
- Learn to identify stress triggers when interacting with a person who has Dementia
- Get empowered to embrace changing your personal care culture
- Walk out with new tools, simple to implement and share with others
- Discuss resources available for professionals and the public
