  1. Alzheimer’s patients need special care and to be able to provide them with the same, you need special solutions that are meant for alzheimer’s and dementia patients. When you are away from home, taking care of the dementia patients becomes very difficult. Vesag comes to your help in such a case. Vesag offers comprehensive devices with gps tracking for Alzheimer’s patients. This device works by storing information and thus acts as a digital memory. It can store all the important information about the patient’s health and can also set alarms for their medicines and checkups. More http://www.vesag.com

  2. Hi Lori,

How you doing? Hope your mother is comfortable and doing ok 🙂

It is sooo hot here. We are in the triple digits. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life (yikes). How is the weather there?

Just wanted to say hello and looking forward to next week. Take care.

    1. Hi Sheri

Things are going good. It’s really hot here too, As much as the winter was long and very snowy the summer is hot wet and humid. It”s all getting a bit old to tell you the truth. 🙂 Mom is doing well hanging in there and holding her own he best she can. Looking forward to our interview on Alzheimer’s Speaks Radio!

      Love ya

      Stay cool

  3. People suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia are increasing daily; also, it is reported to be 6th leading cause of death in US. Keeping patient under strict and constant supervision is most common practice but it is not realistic and sometime very exhausting. Alzheimer’s disease is reportedly difficult to cure but we can keep our loved one under our surveillance and keep them safe and secure with the help of GPS enable tracking systems. We have eCare GPS patients tracking system for my Grandfather who is suffering from dementia. Earlier She wandered away many times leaving us in difficulty. But thanks to this GPS device, now we can locate her in real time.

  4. Hi Lori,

I just finished listening to “Confessions of a Caregiver”. It was a beautiful show, and one that I will always remember. The way he expressed himself, so honest about how he felt about guilt and resentment…were some of my sentiments exactly. He mentioned how he just “wanted” his wife with him for those special moments, and I felt the same way when I first married my husband. But then reality sets in, you come to grips with the situation, and deal with your loved one’s illness.

It was just so encouraging to hear someone speak “truth” about this disease and how they really felt. I will never forget him.

Thanks Lori for all you do. I love you and hope all is well with you and Mom today 🙂

    1. HI SHERI

THANK YOU FOR BEING ON THE SHOW! I’LL MISS HAVING YOU ON AS A GUEST WITH ME ON MONDAY ON FAMILY CAREGIVERS UNITE. YOU DID A GREAT JOB YOURSELF ON THE ALZHEIMER’S SPEAKS RADIO SHOW. IT WAS FUN TO HAVE YOU SHARE YOUR STORY ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY WITH YOUR MOM. GOOD LUCK WITH ALL THAT IS ON YOUR PLATE. YOU WILL BE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!
