Potts, who is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and a neurologist, author, educator, and champion of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and their care partners. He was personally inspired by his father’s transformation from saw miller to watercolor artist as his journey with dementia progressed. Dr. Potts seeks to make a variety of expressive art therapies more widely available through his foundation, Cognitive Dynamics.
