Age 86, of Roseville, formerly of Aitkin, slipped away peacefully on February 28, 2014 following a 30 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Preceded in death by husband, Dean; parents, Lee Roy & Alice; and brother, Chuck. Survived by children, Mark, Lori La Bey, & Scott; grandchildren, Erin, Sarah, Danielle, Zack, & Lexi; great grandchildren, Dalena, Nevaeh, Javis, Erianna, Aniah, & Cassius; and many other loving family & friends. Funeral service 2 PM Friday, March 7 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd. B. Visitation from 4-8 PM Thursday and also on Friday from 1-2 PM. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Wow, Lori. I just read the announcement of your mom’s death. I am so sorry. I had a close brush with my mom recently and was surprised at the overwhelming grief that was just below the surface.
