This is a personal story about my Mother and her perception of a situation verse my families perception of the situation. Once again my Mother and her disease taught us all a great lesson that I wanted to share with all Caregivers.

Thank you so much for this, Lori. We are just starting down the assisted living and possible dementia path (and I just found your blog), so it’s all new from the caregiver perspective, and just sorting out the differences between one facility and another. You’ve added a whole new dimension to my understanding of some of the activities offered in these places – and how it may be some of these simplest things that may in the long run make the biggest difference.
