2024 Maude’s Awards Winners Announced

Lori La Bey talks with the Executive Director of Maudes Awards and a couple of the 2024 Maude’s Awards winners!  Joining me is

Marilyn Raichle is the Executive Director of Maude’s Awards, which was created to reward innovations that enrich the quality of life for persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias as well as their care partners. The 2024 Annual Award recipients have just been announced.

Arlieta Hall was a caregiver for her father who lived with Alzheimer’s disease. She used improv and stand-up comedy to communicate with him and took videos of their everyday life which ultimately led to the creation of a documentary: “Finding Your Laughter.”

Roxana Delgado is a Professor and Director of the Caring for the Caregiver program of the School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
