Covering Care Cost For Seniors Is Overwhelming

#CaregivingCosts #CostsOfCare #CoveringCaringCosts #SeniorCareCosts

Join Lance A. Slatton and Loriย  La Bey on Conscious Caregiving with L & L as they discuss the overwhelming cost of caring for our elders. Senior needs vary, and so do the services, products, and tools they need to live well and with dignity. From health insurance, prescription costs, medical bills, therapies, support services, to all the regular housing costs for a roof over their heads, housing and car insurance, food, maintenance, clothing, technology, phones, utilities, taxes, transportation, and more. The costs are forever fluid and seem to be rising as needs change.

How do families deal with so many unknowns when they have never been educated on what’s coming down the road? They don’t know the types of support services that are available or where to find them, and again, they don’t know how to pay for it, or the legalities of how to correctly pay for their needs, without crumbling all their efforts if not done correctly.

Watch or listen to Lance and Lori’s conversation, which highlights some ideas on covering the cost of caring.
