The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of Dementia Care

Lori La Bey talks with Dayna Steele.  They will be discussing The Woman in the Mirror podcast and play which are adaptations of Dayna’s best-selling book, “Surviving Alzheimer’s With Friends, Facebook and a Really Big Glass of Wine.” Dayna candidly chronicled her mother’s journey with Alzheimer’s on social media with unfiltered observations and dark humor. Her refreshing honesty is laced with biting humor, which is a testament to a caregiver’s strength and resiliency in the face of extraordinary and unexpected circumstances.

The play has had a successful premiere run in Houston and several readings around the USA. She is working on a 6-episode audio drama podcast which is coming soon.
