Singer/pianist John Moorhouse’s joins Alzheimer’s Speaks Radio Host Lori La Bey to discuss the use of music for those with dementia.  John’s career has spanned over forty-plus years where he has shared the same stage with some of the most famous bands and singers in the world. For the last twenty-five years, John has entertained at over one hundred senior’s homes and Alzheimer’s adult day centres in Southern Ontario every month. In 2012 he produced a series of six Sing Along With John DVDs that are sold for senior’s music therapy recreation programs in six countries

  1. Hi, this is the first of your programs I have listened to and I enjoyed it very much. I do believe in the power of music in general, and have seen the positive effect it has on those with dementia. Thank you for this interview with John Moorhouse, and bless him for the work that he does!
