Dementia Chatsâ„¢ positions our panelists to be the true experts. They are those diagnosed with some form of dementia. Our panelist vary from video to video depending on their personal schedules. New voices are always welcome to join us.

Lori La Bey, the founder of Alzheimer’s Speaks facilitates Dementia Chats. She learned how essential it was to listen to those diagnosed. Her own mother lived 30 years with dementia. Lori found people living with dementia had great insights and creative ideas for care. They show us how to be inclusive in new ways.
Our Panelists become spokespersons for themselves and others living with dementia positioning them as advocates, and many say it gives them a new sense of purpose and pride which allows them to continue to live a dignified and purpose-filled life.
