On Dementia Chats July 12, 2016

Today we discussed the power of our words and we picked out two words used in society when talking about cognitive impairment – “Dementia and Demented.” The second half of our program we talked about our panel understanding their disease is progressive and the need to find others diagnosed to fill their shoes as their abilities decline.  This is an extremely important topic as those living with the disease have such powerful insights to help us all live graciously with the disease.
