Memorial Day

First and foremost I want to say

“THANK YOU!”

This post is to honor all the men and women who have served our country. Your selfless acts to protect and serve the needs of our country is more than just honorable. It’s life changing for all of us. You have given us the gift of freedom one which ripples throughout our life and transcends to our children, and their children.

So often I feel a disconnect between the risks and commitment you take on to serve us. I truly appreciate your dedication and its impact. Most of society has gotten used to an immediate cause and effect. So much of what you stand for is to maintain what we have. Many people seem not to see or feel the wonder of freedom and privileges we have until they are lost.

A sad statement to who we have become.

So let me again say “THANK YOU.  EACH ONE OF YOU WHO HAVE SERVED  IN OUR HONOR. THANK YOU FOR THE RISKS YOU HAVE TAKEN FOR US.”
