When Life Moves On – Poem by Lorraine Bruce

WHEN LIFE MOVES ON
When life moves on and loved ones are gone
The days can seem so long
Like a song that lingers in our hearts and mind
And thoughts of life turn so unkind
As we try to carry on
When life moves on and loved ones are gone
The days can seem so long
Like a memory so vivid that plays on repeat
And in remembering each moment our heart skips a beat
As we try to carry on
When life moves on and loved ones are gone
The days can seem so long
Like a cloud in the sky, so graceful and high
Yet, with each passing moment we say goodbye
As we try to carry on!!!
