Are You a Child Caring for a Parent with Alzheimer’s?

This is a response to a question I posed the other day.  The article refered to is well worth reading!

I have trouble when people say they are “parenting their parents” and have recently written an essay on that topic that was published in the Minneapolis StarTribune on Christmas Day, a lovely belated gift to my Dad who had AD. I hope you like it.

The roles may evolve, but the parental order stands

Caring for my ailing father was like caring for my children, but not exactly.
