Today’s show is live, and as always you are invited to call in and ask your questions or make comments at 323-870-4602.

Lori La Bey will be talking with Dr. Daniel Gibbs who is one of 50 million people worldwide with an Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis, and one of 5.8 million Americans living with the disease.  The difference here is that Dr Gibbs, is a neurologist, who has spent twenty-five years caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.  He realized that he too might have the disease, even though no official diagnosis or serious signs of cognitive decline had occurred.

How did he come to that conclusion? We will find that out today as Dr. Gibbs tells his story.  We will also hear about his book titled, “A TATTOO ON MY BRAIN: A Neurologist’s Personal Battle Against Alzheimer’s Disease.”  Dr Gibbs’ story will warm your heart and inspire you as he shares how one scientist dealt with dementia.  Dr Gibbs has spent most of his life studying from the “outside” and now he finds himself with a front row seat from “inside” the disease.
